Perhaps you should ring the SML chairman Michael Sadler in relation to this pie in the sky number doing the rounds at the moment. Phone number is 51525011 (Victoria). A few dollars well spent in a simple telephone call may save you heaps? I know Michael personally and he would be only too willing to take your call and give you the facts.

Read the asx announcements and check out the SML web site. All factual information is in there! SML, at the moment have a jorc of about 55thou oz. and there are about 427thou shares on issue plus approx 180thou options. There will be another 175mil shares on offer if raising goes through. Soon a total of about 600mil ordinary shares.

The latest asx announcement shows a raising of $7mil to accelerate drilling. Funds are likely to go through, however I did note that within the asx report it was only "an agreement in principal". In my take, it has not been signed off?
