@hkhf there is some interesting information on the geology and how much helium has been generated in the research paper @gmh1966 posted yesterday. Below is the original video in this 4 part series and the notes I took as posted previously. Anyway one of my notes from the video was "The methane is renewable as regenerated underground but not the helium." Maybe it generates the helium over hundreds to millions or billions of years whilst the methane regenerates pretty much immediately and is deemed renewable.
Notes from part 1 of this 4 part video series below:
Renergen has barely scratched the surface in terms of the helium potential.5000kg per day of helium for Phase 2 being from only 90% of the 1P reserves
5000kg/day of helium enough to supply 8% of current global helium demand
It would take 20 years to deplete this helium at 5000kg per day which is only from a third of the reserves area.
Renergen after about 20 years can extend production anothet 30 years at Renergen"s discretion as I understood it
The methane is renewable as regenerated underground but not the helium.
Phase 2 plant to be powered by waste gasBig increase in Phase 2 LNG to 34000gj per day up from 24000gj
High double digits IRR as capex upfront and only 150 max staff and no power costs once Phase 2 is operational
Cryo-Vacc design being upgraded and looking to get units in the field in about 6 to 8 months time. Bear in mind per the Nov 2021 Alan Kohler interview if 15,000 units of cryo-vacc get into the field that's about as profitable as Phase 2 so one to keep an eye on given its potential
Stefano estimate of about UD$400m per year of revenues and high double digits IRR for Phase 2Phase 2 - 20 lng containers 1 helium container per day
750m debt the balance of about US250m in equity for Phase 2
Draw down on debt over time certain matching equity needed.. so equity raised over time to minimize dilution...
CEF investment to be finalized Q1 2023A few things he can't yet reveal before the end of the year he did mention however I think an LNG deal logistics company might be pending
