I've owned shares before and might do so again, in the very near future if the stock price continues to drift. In any case not owning shares doesn't invalidate my views per se.

I might have misunderstood your point re the ETFs. Quick recap:

-End of June VEAC (VanEyck) published a 603 stating they owned 13,064,654 shares, split between two ETFs: 1,225,431 shares in the UCITS GXDJ and 11,839,223 shares in the non-UCITS GXDJ.
-As of mid-September, the non-UCITS GXDJ only owns 1,090,064
-Your point (from what I understand) is that this decrease in holding should have triggered a form 605. The fact that it didn't shows that VEAC sold those shares to one of their associates. That would constitute wash trading.
-My point is that we don't know how many shares they still have in the non-UCITS GXDJ. IF they still have the same number of shares there, the total holding is 11,839,223+1,090,064=12,929,287. This is still above 5%, hence no need for a form 605
-Once again, this is just a possibility, I'm not saying this is the correct explanation, just that the nefarious explanation is not the only possible one
