There was an article on the weekend about house price falls in Sydney, where they are slowly slipping back, but there is no crash. The RBA knows full well that the minute they drop the AUS interest rate by 0.25% the housing boom is back into full swing. Straight up, they are going to drop rates at the last possible moment, when they know that inflation is properly dead and buried, then bam, the property market is in fully blown boom again
