    Banks are trying to loosen up lending rules because the rules imposed by the government are too tight. We're at the top of the interest rate cycle, right? If you are a lender you are required to allow for an additional interest rate rise of 3% to determine if a borrower can afford a loan.

    How much sense does that make TB?
