If Larry Diamond sold $100 mil of his shares at the top of the market at the behest of we posters in Hot Copper, it would be a very long stretch of the imagination. Similarly if he sold $100 mil at the top of the market to conduct a tree shake in order to buy the shares back at a much lower price, then it would be a very long bow to draw as well as bringing into question his integrity as a significant shareholder et al, particularly as he would effectively be shorting with his own portfolio and no longer as a lender of his stock.
