I agree with @EugeneB. Letting the markets correct early in his term could set up Trump to frame it as a needed purge, shifting blame to the previous government while taking the opportunity to clear out the inefficiencies, like zombie companies. It would give him a chance to reset the economic direction and steer the recovery from a cleaner slate. If the froth continues to build, it will only make it harder for him to manage the eventual correction down the line.
