No doubt the acutal EPS for 2009 is going to be higher than the underlying EPS that I talked about, partly because of FX and partly because of legal costs recovery and its tax effect.
I am planning to hold on to my shares in the medium term so therfore what I focus on is the underlying operation
FX gains/losses whether realised or unrealised are really just noises in the numbers (on a medium term time frame). So I exclude them when i try to asseess what's the future maintainable earning.
