I think they get paid XX cents or so, per response to their posts/threads. And yes this post will be used in an invoice to whoever has contracted them to run some form of distraction to the normal flow of useful conversation and shared 'sense-making'. The thread titles are always ridiculously inflammatory.
I'm wondering if we have advanced to accounts being worked by bot-driven AI chat responses.
