IMO there will be another bidder within 3 months if China Guandong walk because contracts are about to be signed and once signed, the value of any synergies will start to diminish.
As yet EXT have made no mention of realising any synergies with RIO around Rossing, so we would have to assume none have been built into the contracting strategy at this stage; but of course anything is possible.
