The Chinese may well walk. They may get an extension, who knows. If I were them, I'd formalize a low ball offer. That way they'd stay in the game at low cost, probably pick up a swag of shares from the nervous nellies. And even if it generated another bid, it would be from a low base. If they walk and don't get an extension, they're sin-binned again are they not?
