IMO CGNPC will put something up this week, although an extension of time is an option they have.
Eventually Rio will show their hand as well, they have not held this stock for all this time to sell it to CGNPC and allow CGNPC to become a major U miner, that's Rio's business. The Hathor investment is not that big in the scheme of things so I don't believe that will have an impact on Rio's Husab ambitions. Hathor provides a strengthening of reserves, some good exploration real estate and geographical diversity to Africa and Australia.
Last year was a record for CO2 emissions, like it or not Uranium, as a fuel, will have a large energy footprint in the future.
The unknown is whether the TO is just worked out between them in a partnership deal or whether they go head to head. Of course the other unknown is whether the Russians, Koreans or Indians have any ambitions ?
