Instead what they have is a very low average buy price and possess at least 10 million shares.
With such a substantial holding, they can sell at price X and repurchase at price Y with minimal stress. By the end of the week, they retain the same number of shares and gain significant cash.
The price action since the last two quarterly announcements demonstrates this pattern consistently, driving the price back to 8.
These shareholders are responsible for this cycle and will likely repeat the process after the next announcement.
Once the price reaches 15 cents or so, the cycle will recommence. This activity is unrelated to the company's performance or profitability; it is purely a strategic game played by these individuals
. As Geoff Toovey famously says, "There's got to be an investigation," but such an inquiry is unlikely to occur. We are stuck in this cycle until new developments break this pattern.
