LOL. Or maybe, WilliamPike and Periculum, I was having a subtle go at the sorts of people who are asking others all over HotCopper to sign up to their silly "petition". Rather than actually suggest they stick to Term Deposits, instead perhaps I was really suggesting they stay the hell away from equity markets and stick to playing in the safety of a kindergarten sandpit.

If I was being churlish, I could have finished the line "......in the safety of a kindergarten sandpit with their intellectual peers" but I'm not "hugely" churlish. I just get so annoyed that such naive people invest in equites markets and then find fault with everything just because smarter people than them are making a dollar or two and assessing the relative risks with a bit more financial sophistication (and perhaps experience too).
