When one gets stung for a LARGE sum it tends to be a memorable occasion. I saw lazy "easy way out " management that even sacked the man who could have run it, Greg Edwards (who built the mine in that difficult "can't be done" place) because in my view they did not want to be told that it could be done. They longed after a cushy job in a "low sovereign risk environment" as they repeatedly said, once again in my view. .
