Another stunning advance for the gold price to new highs - who'd thought we see A$3600+ before mid year ?
The "commodity leads" so it makes it difficult not to be a passive trend follower with (selected) gold miners ..... RED and SLR rerate is getting added impulse ( 'before the merger' has been confirmed ) leading some to see relatively full value in an increasingly unstable market.
Geopolitical factors, ongoing inflation and labor shortages, rising oil prices are putting pressure on AISC's ... so margins will be affected ....
Will RED make a new high pre-merger, will GMD emerge from its slumber with a killer last minute merge deal ( I doubt it ) .... the tension is thrilling, but I'm going to sell a few to keep the bride happy ... its been a long hall from the dark days of mid 2017 when the SP bottomed at 3c ...
