No, the only thing that you cleared up is that you are naïve. It doesn't matter what the company is worth; that hasn't mattered for a decade or two now. The vultures simply suppress the price and then offer 30 to 40% VWAP, and the company directors will accept it as an offer we can't refuse. They may even pay for a so-called "independent" expert's report that will or course back the board's view that we plebs are getting a bargain. Some on the board may be given jobs or "consultancies" in the new entity to keep them on the vulture's side. The age of relative honesty and integrity from board members during take-overs that we experienced 2+ decades ago is long gone. RED may be worth 34 cents, but I doubt we'll see that in a takeover. 25 cents is closer to the mark IMHO.
