Well today's "Substantial Shareholder notice" lends some weight to my theory of slow accumulation going on .... I was offered 21c for several million shares 2 weeks ago ... I gracefully declined and said I that I expected something beginning with a 3 before I would shed that amount - and I was intrigued who would be buying at such scale if "they" hadn't rerated RED ?? How many more SSN's before RED SP rerates and hits analysts (short term) targets ??
A weak A$, combined with the bear market in sentiment for gold miners, created great long bargain basement entry points for quality producers.
The US$ gold chart has created a provisional "turning point" and it would be bullish if 1900 gets conformed as support. The next resistance would be around 1940, then 1980, then 2000+ ?
The A$ POG has been supported by a weaker A$, and the bullish "ascending triangle" pattern remains intact. Next resistance 2980-3000 then 3040ish, then 3110 then .... new highs to GOK.
So, as long as he market doesn't tank then RED just might go much higher as the "penny drops" ( sorry RMS ).
Cue RED theme music "Send in the Clowns" ( ? ) - any ridiculously low M&A suggestions will only provoke ridicule and laughter.
