Buy and hold through thick and thin is not as risky as buying lows and selling highs. Personally, the only time l recognise a high or a low is after the event because the benefit of hind sight is a marvelous thing. Buying a ship load just around the last raise price and not selling until l see how the global economy and the US in particular fares for ALL of 2024 is still going to make me a boat load of money with almost zilch risk me thinks. Profit as of today is brilliant. l think there is still plenty of up side left in the SP, so holding even through retraces should work fine. Cleaver traders may turbo charge their investment dollars but unfortunately l dont have that skill.
