In Jan 2019 CMM SP was 30c with low liquidity - the definitive "buy signal" for those with eyes that see and brains that know, was massive increase in turnover coupled with a substantial new high (more than double). CMM then had a reasonable run till its game changer end of FY'21 report which started a fresh rerate which culminated in its index elevation(s) in late '21 early'22 .... since then the SP has been remarkably stable.
Congratulations to those who enjoyed a Disallowed. Imagine if some of these dudes had said, when they saw RED SP at 13c "this is as good as it gets in CMM, lets buy a big bunch of this future champion" ... they would be true legends.
I suggest that once RED gets into the GDXJ, and it pays down debt, its SP will stabilise in similar fashion (if the POG remains supportive).
Now there's a major difference between RED (KOTH) and CMM - only the former is seen as an inevitable "regional consolidation centre" - this remains RED "special sauce".
Selling your champions is the hardest thing - but it is a key characteristic of champion investors - who are looking for the next champion.
I bought RED very cheaply (5c) and accumulated well, but held too long and strong, didn't trade enough, and had endless strife with the bride who threw back at me some of my own mantras, but here we are - now a big money box that keeps the bride happy, but I'm restless and wary.
