RED is already a constituent of the GDXJ ETF. It holds ~US$30M

The index that I believe it is eligible for is the NYSE Arca Gold Miners Index (GDMNTR), which is the basis for the GDX.
The requirement is US$750M market cap, and the share price is comfortably above this level. I think the measurement date for the rebalance is this Friday (or could have been last Friday). Implementation date will be the 15th.
Based on the existing holdings I estimate that the GDX will need to purchase ~US$50M worth of stock. Probably in the order of 200M shares.
