people have mentioned that SLR have a blocking stake at 11% of RED. this is true in the case of a traditional takeover offer (90% needed for compulsory acquisition). however, if GMD comes to RED with a new 'scheme of arrangement' as everyone seems to be doing these days to avoid having to pay takeover premiums then SLR shareholders will have to vote on it but the threshold will be 75% of votes cast and SLR will then not have a blocking stake.... anyhow, something to consider.
