The Houthi's "come to Jesus" moment has given the POG a surge, but for gold enthusiasts to feel comfortable, we need to see follow up moves to confirm a new uptrend, in place of the recent indecisive meandering .... the world and its Stockmarket's are very jittery and hence this volatility will continue.
RED SP is going sideways, along with the POG - 30c (MC A$1bn) looks firm resistance till some further positive factor provides more rocket fuel to 34 and then 38c resistance .... then nirvana, the land of 40c+ ( MC A$1.5bn+ )
Unless M&A emerges (seems unlikely in the short term) the SP will depend on the POG & RED continuing to deliver KOTH out performance.
Interest rates may fall dramatically in 2024, if the economic conditions continue to deteriorate, and this may be positive for POG ??
RED remains a strong buy below 30c .... IMHO. BUT the full half yearly report will need to be robust & confident to retain market support.
