My feeling is that a couple of the analysts are now recognizing the energy sector has turned and they are now taking a small position in a well managed company with a viable business and a strong east coast gas business looming. SXY as you know took the hardest beating of them all coupled with losing their ASX200 ranking, but things are starting to turn.

The other thought is someone is betting on market consolidation and SXY is an attractive bet for a relatively cheap price. (I sincerely hope this is not the case).

Either way we'll see a base building around this level before we take the next step up unless someone is taking a serious position in SXY.
