Whether they 'built expectations' or not is a matter of opinion. They stated the facts and expressed an opinion on those. If the investor chooses to buy into anything other than facts, they do so at their own peril. If you let fear/greed play a role rather than sticking to facts you're bound to get caught out. Forums like these are great for building unrealistic expectations.
