Because it's not enough cash being raised. IMO they'll be back for more in a few months, when the price will be even lower, so more dilution. Why? Because if everything was genuinely so rosy that another mere $40m would ensure the breakthrough to profitability and +ve cash flows, debt repayments and interest included, then they should have been able to raise ST debt finance.

Which reports have you been reading? Try going back and reading the reports from 2007, or 2009, and see if what they say they will achieve resembles anything like the company you see now, and you will understand the scepticism of many on here.

For Lynas, expectations and guidance have just been targets to be missed for almost a decade now.
