From a historical perspective, an ASX financing transaction tends to include a retail placement plus a short term debt facility - new or otherwise. Quite obviously, the true brokers, aren't interested, hence the discount. eg. I think Macq. have given up & JP Morgan have no further alliance IMO.
I'd like to see options included, Perhaps if they are, they'll be unlisted?
