I was not going to post on this stock and its sad demise again, but I came across this tidbit which is worthy of some attention. If I read it correctly WNI/BCK is looking at flogging off 40% of Marillana for $A 1 billion. That would value Marillana at $A 2.5 billion.
That would value the old BRM at around 18 AUD per share.
However in the current environment, I think these WNI/BCK geniuses are pie in the sky, but it just underscores how much they ripped off the minority shareholders. They really were and continue to be a bunch of mangy maggots. I expect nothing will happen in the next I/O cycle anyway. Who in the hell would partner with WNI/BCK - I reckon if Atlas could they would cut and run asap.

It has been reported that ASX-listed iron ore miner Brockman Resources is looking to divest up to 40% of itsMarillana Iron Ore Project in Western Australia. Chief Executive Officer, Russell Tipper, indicated that potential investors should be willing to invest more than A$1 billion. The 21st Central Business Herald had earlier reported that Brockman Resources has been in talks with Chinese steel producers. Colin Paterson, Brockman Resources General Manager, has been reported to say that many Chinese companies have shown an interest in the project, which is due to start production in 2016.
