at that point in time, the takeover of NWE was sputtering a tad [3 or 4 final takeover bid extensions] and a dry well proved to be a gamechanger for the takeover outcome!
LD-2 was scheduled to be the third of a three well programme, but was rescheduled to number 2 for some "unknown reason"!!!
one just has to wonder what may have been if the rescheduling had not taken place because the third drill was successful???
