How much money did it cost for that fellow that jumped off the roof and died? More than $4000?
How much money is paid out for "compensation "claims. This incidence could be reduced with a $4000 assistance payout, perhaps cleaning things up before any claim for "stress" compensation is declared by the applicant.
When a asylum claim is rejected, the claimant can appeal the decision . That legal process ( and the continued cost of housing them)cost a lot more than $4000.
Is this money offered after first rejection perhaps saving appeal costs ... is it withdrawn if appeal proceeds? Good potential there to save money.
