OH my you cherry picked Norway and Taiwan because they have had reasonable results but overlooked the fact that both had restrictions in relation to entry and to travel and requiring quarantining and isolation. They have good results because of the measures they have taken. Norway has nearly 4 times the death rate of Australia per 100k people and Taiwan is just slightly better than Australia. Both countries took Covid seriously and managed to keep the lid on it as has Australia. Just to provide a little clarity for you here is something about Norway in lockdown.

"OSLO, July 28 (Reuters) - Norway postponed for a second time on Wednesday a planned final step in the reopening of its economy from pandemic lockdown, due to the continued spread of the Delta variant of COVID-19, the government said."A new assessment will be made in mid-August," Health Minister Bent Hoeie told a news conference."
