Very strong growth and what is encouraging to me is the turnover penetrated across all meetings, not just the major Caulfield Cup meet in Melbourne.
I scanned this morning to have a look at the turnover on the Adelaide and Newcastle meetings. Its a handy turnover boost for what were really only sideshow meets on Saturday.
Also worth mentioning that Brisbane only ran three races before they were abandoned.
I will admit it is a peak season for betting turnover, but the growth in meeting numbers and active users bodes well for recurring turnover through the remainder of the year. Even if it is just the Autumn and spring carnival punters, the more the merrier!
