I have been recently investigating other resource companies to invest in and so on Friday I was speaking over the phone to the MD of another small resources company I was interested in.

I mentioned that I was a shareholder in this company, and I asked this MD if he had ever come across Global Geoscience. In fact, he knew the company quite well and went on to say that he thought it was a great shame that they had decided to call it quits as he had quite a high opinion of the company.

What seems clear to me is that GSC was considered by industry insiders to be one of the better listed exploration companies. Of all the junior mining companies out there, this would be one of the last ones you would expect to throw in the towel.

The point I am making is that I have some trouble believing that this is another 'bog standard' reverse takeover. Something seems unusual about this.

It will be interesting to watch what happens here.
