Everything will crash if the Feds raise rates that's why after 90 months they've only managed a meaningless 0.25%.

Who thinks the US economy can support a rate rise? Nobody, so it ain't going to happen in this attempted cycle (or in a controlled fashion).

The Bureau of Labor Statistics [in the US] defines people not in the labor force (or NILF) as those people ages 16 and older who are neither employed nor have “made specific efforts to find employment sometime during the 4-week period ending with the reference week.” The NILF number increased by 562,000 in the last month to 94 million, the highest number EVER. Yes, out of 319 million Americans who are able to work, 94 million are not part of the labor force [from T. Sagami of Mauldin Economics].
Once they raise rates higher in the US the burger flipping jobs recovery in the US will collapse under the momentum of car repossessions. Much of the tail end of the bubble finance credit expansion has gone to finance car loans, an extremely unproductive part of the consumer economy in my opinion. Large credit expansions directed towards rapidly depreciating assets don't create enduring jobs. Sounds like the US shale oil revolution as well (rapidly depreciating assets paid for with borrowed money). Quick more steroids please. Eshmun
