Yep that's a fair point. I'd have to pull out all the relevant anns, but if I remember right this is an aspect that has been discussed by NEU and now that you remind me we've discussed in on HC in the past. (Note to self: must brush up on research)
I would point out that, while I wouldn't presume to tell the experts how to do their job, a reverse double blind trial structure is the kind of thing I'd like to have seen used in the NEU ph III trial, if only that it rewards the trial participants by "giving everyone a go". Also, that trial was published as an open access paper which means that anyone can read it.
