*computers for every student - no can do!
*whale watching to take Japan to court - other than the bit about watching whales it never happened.
*Rudd to take Iran to court - never happened
*carbon trading - softened up on targets. Couldn't model a $ten bill injection but somehow could carbon trading scheme.
*30 mill gift to Toyota while thousands lost their jobs at Ford and Holden
*alcopop tax - did nothing to stop binge drinking so then argued the money derived was the result of an economically responsible activity.
*grocery watch - pushed on through and saved shoppers nothing.
*talk fest - claimed a success but still nothing acted on.
*the now defunct first home savers accounts - discouraged it's use only weeks later with grant increases.
*petrol watch - Pat Walker resigned after 3 months. Still waiting!
*bank guarantee - rushed, botched and back flipped on. Not up for discussion in parliament.
*save the Murray - paid millions for water that is only available in flood years.
*10 bill spend up - in part a hidden response to compensating the hard line stance against raising pensions.
*Budget surplus for infrastructure needs - no it was for tough times all along they were well ahead of the game!
and that's probably the short list...
