but on my calcs the stock is worth about 40c unless the contract price gets up to $US50/lb. a cent or 2 either side of 40c/share to me is just signal noise

nothing wrong with people gambling the spot will go higher again - but selling at these levels had less to do with shorterts and more to do with a rational balance between things as they are and things as we would like them to be.

dont forget pdn currently has $200m cash, loses about $70m a year in cash burn and has a $300m CB to renegotiate in 12 months. So its effectively negative $170m cash position and wont start making money until cotnracts are above $50/lb as i understand it./

personally i think pdn will push on.

but only a madman would think buying it at 42c/share today is buying it cheap on a fundamental basis.

it may end up being cheap if uranium price continues its run - but thats speculation, not investment
