Let's not beat around the bush, it's a massive payday for them.
However, this has now turned into a very long-term hold for people wanting to see it out and continue holding the soon-to-be TRIP shares.
Sucks for anyone who has no interest in holding a stock on an international market. I have never been in this situation like this so I'm not sure how it will work -- I'm assuming Commsec will sort it all out however does that mean now international brokerage rates etc when people want to sell?
Plus side personally, I hold only a small amount, wanted to get back out at 0.25 but now I think I'll ride it out as TRIP.
