Correct they are getting better batteries. It was only last week that a university published data that had a much larger capacity battery that they had charger hundreds of thousands of times and guess what? It contained zero lithium. That is the problem with technology it can be made obsolete. Same example is the graphite they use for the cathode and anode. Silicon is better if they find a way to deal with the expansion and contraction problems.
