    Ventracor is an international medical device company, headquartered in Sydney and operating in Asia, USA and Europe, that manufactures the VentrAssist™ Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD), an implantable blood pump designed as long term therapy for people in end stage heart failure.

    Due to ongoing success and growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and well organized Accounts Officer, to join the company.

    Reporting to the Financial Controller your duties would be to provide support and assistance to the Finance team helping to ensure that Ventracor Limited has a name that can be trusted in the financial market by dealing with both employees and suppliers with efficiency and with a happy, professional and service oriented ethic.

    Key Challenges:

    Process supplier invoices daily;
    Process employee expenses;
    Process payments both EFT/Chq/Overseas on a weekly basis;
    Respond to supplier queries;
    Reconcile Bank statements weekly;
    Reconcile Creditors to the General Ledger;
    Reconcile Supplier Statements and Employee advances;
    Maintain petty cash float;
    Process General Journals when necessary;
    Ensure internal financial processes/ procedures are adhered to;
    Liaise with the Logistics Department to maintain an acceptable level of open PO's and PRO's;
    Provide support to the Financial account in respect of timely delivery of month-end reconciliations as required.


    Skills and Experience:


    Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people;
    ;
    Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Office - particularly Word and Excel;
    Previous experience with Navision Accounting System;
    Westpac Corporate Online knowledge and experience;
    Strong administration skills and attention to detail ;
    Awareness and appreciation for confidential information;
    Ability to prioritise and multi-task;
    Enthusiastic and customer focused.
