Viking had supposedly not declared that they had in fact accumulated many more shares than they had under local rules declared, IIRC.

Could the issue be that they have in fact accumulated a parcel for someone else who didn't want to be disclosed and which may ultimately benefit Viking's declared holdings?

If its going to happen they'd want to test RC's claims he's Takeover proofed NXS very soon, well before any deal gets done with Shell - so if he' saying that he'll have a deal in at most 8 weeks then... Bring it on Osaka? KoGas?
