Agree it appears Bellwether have given up on the case. It's hard to believe the consecutive buys for 4.5 mil shares were not coordinated but I'm guessing we won't find out who the purchaser was before the GM.
I can''t see the shares could have been bought by the company under the on market buyback scheme because that is limited to a max 65% of NTA viz about 18c at the moment.
What would the situation be if DBS was the buyer and the dissident activist has left the room?
This just seems to go from bad to worse. It would be nice to know if the purchase was by a new holder because that would give a signal that a forced sale of the DBS shares on market wouldn't drepress the share price more. Has the mystery purchaser deep enough pockets/inclination to pick up another 6.5 mil shares?
I guess supporting the DBS 1 for 10 pro rata selloff would at least help average my cost down.
