JPR also went near 30 cents after the bio diesel fiasco. They actually moved from 6 cents to near a 30 cents high. The reason was that yes they had half as many shares on issue, but more so the market was so bullish, absurd things were taking place. The rumour mill circulated that JPR were about to move into big things in Kazakhstan and poach some big people (ie off Max Pertroleum). It eventuated that the hype did not meet the reality, so very quickly the share price retraced to about 18 cents and then following the GFC came back to where it is now.
We are in a very different market environment that now waits for facts and revenues. Thus JPR is not moving on what is much better and more subsatntial news that 2 years ago.
However once or if they become a producer, things might change, but with twice the shares on issue it still wont be the same.
