A LOCAL company has been given the green light for a federal government grant to develop environmentally friendly technology for an overseas car manufacturer.
Orbital Australia, an engine designer in Balcatta, has been granted $440,413 for the new technology, which is planned to be used in China's fourth largest car manufacturer.
The company will use the grant to develop its FlexDI engine management and combustion system.
