Just seen the posts on Cynata's IP. It probably doesn't help that the 'Freshpatent' site is actually incorrect in assigning patent details!
It's better to go to the US patent office's site itself which is http://www.uspto.gov

So the link that was posted was this -

but the correct details can be found here:

which patent application is in fact, licensed exclusively to Cynata by WARF (it is within Appendix B3).

The second patent application referred to is :

and is this application here:

....which is among the IP licensed to Cynata by CDI as part of their relationship with them.

Another thing. As far as I'm aware it isn't the FDA’s business or concern whether a patent exists or not anyway; or is “outdated”, with respect to any particular drug (save for situations called a Paragraph 4 filing relating to generic equivalents); their mandate is to ensure safe and effective medicines.
