I remember the good people at Hartleys raising $100m at $2 for AGO back in April 2008, when AGO was trading in the low $2s. AGO then like SIR now was an up-and-comer and market darling with lots of upside.
Hartleys and friends ran it hard and AGO's SP doubled within a few months to $4.37. Of course this was at the peak of the boom just prior to the GFC, much different to the conditions we have now, but in my experience Hartleys is a master of these type of high potential plays.
Regardless of what the actual "value" of Nova is, I would not be surprised to see this given another solid pump, maybe even back above $3 and testing the highs. All it needs is a couple of good announcements in the months ahead to light the fuse.
