back to the original topic on the thread...A similar company in QLD (Chinchilla) called Linc Energy (LNC) has some decent info on their website concerning UGC (underground coal gasefication)...they were giving figures of producing diesel I think for around $10 a barrel using the Fischer-Tropsch process...hope that helps with the cost side of things..interestingly enough the original company helping them with the technology (Canadian mob, Ergo Exergy) are now signed up with Cougar (CXY). I think there was an amicable parting of the ways and LNC signed up with some Russian dudes. LNC have been steady around the mid-60's for frickin' ages now since they jumped from 0.27 a couple of months back.
Spose if SXP are into the same deal and also the CSM stuff (CBM or CSG) they are probably onto a winner..hope it goes well :)
