one would imagine P&G just gobbling us up thus saving them a hell of alot of loot in royality payments.

You might imagine that but why? Firstly P&G don't typically takeover these types of companies despite having a numebr of these types of alliances over time and secondly why pay a large up-front sum when you can spread the cost over a time period out of the money you have already RECEIVED from SALES? I can't see P&G ever taking over OBJ.
