A small local country primary school with 12 students had an outdoor covered learning center built through the BER at a cost of $250000.00. It was basically a glorified carport that any handyman could put up for under $100000.00. It seems that the govt. is still throwing money around as they have now received a grant of $50000.00 for a roof over their outdoor play area which comprises 1 slide. They have no idea how to control their spending, this is just one small example.
