Labor was just going nuts in the end - NBN, Gonski, NDIS it was just one thing after another as Gillard tried anything to look like she was doing something with no regard to costs.
We didn't have the money to pay for any of this and in the case of NBN it was never properly costed anyway - blowing out by billions.
It is quite criminal how fiscally irresponsible they were. They have left all these ticking time bombs when they knew terms of trade were declining severely, and the current coalition is left to deal with the consequences.
